Nigel here with an important announcement regarding an upcoming poker trip to the Dusk Til Dawn live poker club in Nottingham UK.
The Details!!
As a result of chatting to the lads at the last poker night we had at Aaron’s and most of us thinking it would be a good idea. I have started to put the ball in motion say to speak, and would like to hear from anyone or everyone that is interested in a trip to Dusk Till Dawn.
For those of you that don’t know anything about the Dusk Till Dawn Live Poker Club I have included towards the end of this post a detailed summary of the place with as much info as I could.
So what’s the deal?
Well, a trip to a poker game is only worth organising if more than a couple of people are interested. I will say for now a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 50 places would make it worthwhile and keep the costs down for everyone. Therefore If you want in, pay your deposit and tell your poker buddies to do the same. I have made it easy for you to spread the word, just use the tell a friend script or share this page with your social network buddies. I posted this on facebook and twitter so please do the same if you have an account.
Anyway, back to the Trip!
I am planning to organise a coach to take us to dusk till dawn on either
Saturday 9th January 2010 or Sunday 10th January 2010
Dusk Till Dawn are running a monthly festival that weekend called the Super 50.
The action kicks off at 2pm and is capped at 270 players.

2pm £50 + £6 No Limit Holdem – Reg closes 2:48pm
24 Minute Clock
10,000 Chips
Capped at 270
Prize money = £50,000 GTD
Now dont worry if £56 is a bit out of your bankroll they do have other tournaments during the day that are a little less but in my opnion a chance of grabbing some ot that 50k prize money is well worth a £50 investment in yourself!

I plan to organise a coach to take us there and back with several pick up and drop off points along the way such as:
Wrexham
Chester
Ellesmere Port (cheshire oaks)
I may add more on the way by popular demand. The exact details will be posted here plus I will email or call everyone personally to confirm.
The Charge for this trip will be £10 each and will include coach travel and light refreshments.

Dusk Till dawn require all players to be members of the club which is free !

About Dusk Till Dawn Live Poker Club
With 45 tables in their main card room and 1 Hi Roller table in the VIP section, Dusk Till Dawn is the largest and only poker-dedicated venue in the UK.

In line with new legislation, smoking is not permitted within the premises. As such, a fully sheltered and secure smoking enclosure is accessible from the main area. For added comfort, heaters are provided.
For players making use of this facility, please ensure that all cigarettes are fully extinguished in the ashtrays provided before returning to the club.

Just spoke to Aaron and he suggested a stay over and play both days. Will organise this too but will probably just go on one of the days, sat or sun. Will go with the masses so if you have any ideas for the trip suggest them here..Nigel
